Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Canvivo collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It applies to everyone who uses the Service.

What we collect. To run the Service we store your account email; preferences such as theme and language; the content of your workspaces — canvases, nodes, uploaded assets, prompts, and generation history; and the AI provider connections you add, whose keys are encrypted at rest — only a masked suffix of a key is ever shown in the UI.

How we use it. We use this data to operate the Service: to keep your workspaces available across devices, to show your generation history and settings, to remember your preferences, and to keep the product working. We do not sell personal data.

How we store it. The Service is hosted on Supabase: workspace content in a Postgres database protected by row-level security, and images in Supabase Storage buckets. Data is encrypted in transit, and provider keys are additionally encrypted at rest.

AI generation. When you generate an image, your prompt and the source images you selected are sent to the AI provider you connected, under that provider's own terms. Review each provider's policy before connecting it.

Cookies and local storage. The Service uses cookies to remember your language choice and UI state, and local storage for your theme, editor settings, and rate-limit counters. These are lightweight and are not used for advertising. Your theme preference is also saved to your account so it follows you across devices.

Retention and your rights. You can delete content from your workspaces at any time: deleting a canvas moves it to the trash where it can be restored, and permanently deleting it removes it from our active database and storage. We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data by contacting us, and we will respond within 30 days. You can stop using the Service at any time.

Changes and contact. We may update this policy and will post changes here; for material changes we will notify you by email. If you have questions or requests, email admin@canvivo.io.
